I’m an English teacher and aspiring travel blogger living in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I’m 23 years old and originally from a village just outside of Cambridge, England. I have, in the words of my good friend Jonathan, “a resting huh face” and generally struggle to make sense of life but have, somehow, managed to make moving abroad work- which means that you can, too.
After I graduated from university, although I was mostly happy in myself, I was at a loose end as to what to do next and I craved adventure. So, shortly before my 22nd birthday, I decided to move to a continent I’d never so much as visited before and give teaching a try. It has, at times, been tough, but I haven’t regretted a second of it. I’ve been here since late March 2017 and plan to stay a while longer before I move on to the next adventure.
Before I moved to Vietnam, I was SUPER nervous and curious enough to kill a hundred cats. I tried to find out everything I could through following blogs but was too shy to message anybody- DON’T BE LIKE ME. Any questions you might have, I’m happy to answer them.
